Jump Island is an outdoor, inflatable water park situated on Bishop Lake in Brighton State Recreation Area. Anyone measuring 48 inches or taller can hop, jump, and splash around on the fun inflatables at Jump Island. For those who are between 42 and 48 inches tall, there’s Splash Island. Since Jump Island is on a beach, there are also other activities like open swimming, beach volleyball, horseshoes, and other amenities.

Although Jump Island is a big attraction, it’s not the only thing to do in Brighton Recreation Area. The nearly 5,000-acre park also has 39 miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and horse riding. You can also add Jump Island to a camping weekend at Brighton Recreation Area, as there are three campgrounds with over 200 campsites. There are, of course, plenty of other water activities too, like stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, and row boating.

Jump Island is located at 6140 Bishop Lake Rd, Brighton, MI 48116. It’s open every day from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, but only during the summer. One 45-minute pass costs $20, and you can buy passes in bulk for a discount. Safety is a priority at Jump Island, and all participants must have life jackets on at all times. There are also multiple lifeguards on duty. Keep in mind that to enter Brighton State Recreation Area, you need a recreation passport.
