Everyone deserves to have a decent, dependable place to call home. Habitat for Humanity recruits volunteers, raises funds, and advocates for safe and affordable housing.
Through the hard work and kindness of volunteers, they build and preserve hundreds of houses for Michigan families every year. Pure Energy Window Company donates hundreds of windows to Habitat for Humanity every year to support their mission of providing affordable housing for Michigan.
Bennett’s Beavers is a 100% volunteer charity serving hospitals and camps in Michigan and 17 other states. What had begun with one hospital has now become a year-round project that provides over 50,000 wooden toys of over 75 designs to 38 hospitals and camps with 40 locations, across the United States. The wood is donated from Doors & Drawers of Dexter, Michigan, and from Comins Lumber Sales Inc. of Comins, Michigan.
The Burn Center at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan is the only verified burn center that is dedicated to pediatrics – and one of a few in the nation – to be verified by the American Burn Association (ABA) and the Committee on Trauma of the American Colleges of Surgeons (ACS).
Being verified as a Pediatric Burn Center is granted because of the spectrum of quality care provided to pediatric burn patients – from the pre-hospital phase through the rehabilitation process. No other Burn Center in the State of Michigan is exclusively dedicated to the needs of children.
The Lyman foundation was established in 1996 and is a registered non-profit organization. They help facilitate public awareness of autism through national and local autism awareness events to ensure that every student has the opportunity to become an integral member of the community.
The Lyman Foundation fundraises by hosting events, fundraising, and accepting donations throughout the year.
Pure Energy Window Company supports high school and youth sports organizations across Southeast Michigan in order to strengthen the community and provide more opportunities for youth sports to flourish across Michigan.
