Features and Activities

Swimmers of all ages will stay busy at Troy Family Aquatic Center, with a whole host of features and activities. It’s well-known as one of the main family attractions in Troy, Michigan. There’s the humongous main pool with its zero-depth edge for all kinds of free swimming and playing. You can also go down the tube and body slides, although kids under 42 inches won’t be allowed to ride the slides. There’s also a kiddie area for the small tikes to play and splash around, complete with a waterfall and splash pad.

The water activities are the main attraction at the Aquatic Center, but there are plenty of other amenities to make your day at the waterpark more comfortable too. There’s a sand volleyball court and sand play area, as well as a cabana area and picnicking facilities. All that swimming and playing can make you hungry, so the water park has Harvey’s Hut Concession Stand serving soft pretzels, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and chicken tenders, as well chips and hummus, drinks, desserts, and candy.

The Troy Family Aquatic Center is located at 3425 Civic Center Dr, Troy, MI 48083. It’s sandwiched between Philip J Huber Park and the Troy Skate Park, right off of I-75. The water park is open every day from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm every summer. The season starts on Memorial Day weekend and goes until Labor Day. While it’s possible to rent out one of the cabana areas for your group, the Aquatic Center does not allow birthday parties. Also, kids six and under must be directly supervised and within arm’s length of an adult at all times. Kids between six and 10 must have an adult within the facility. You can’t bring outside food or drinks into the park, but there is a picnic area situated outside the park gates.
